Former SIU-Carbondale athletic director Liz Jarnigan has landed a new job with another Missouri Valley Conference school.
Valparaiso University has hired Jarnigan as Associate Director of Athletics for Academic Support and Student Services.
She served as the director of Saluki Athletics from 2019 until her dismissal in September.
The termination notice from SIU's administration to Jarnigan indicates she was let go without cause - and that she'd be paid for the remainder of her contract.
