Disc golf teams will converge on SIU-C's Campus Lake this Saturday for a one day golf tournament to support the Breakfast Rotary Club of Carbondale. Club member Randy Osborn says the sport has been getting very popular and the club is looking for a big turnout, both in teams and spectators.

"The population, the community of people that play disc golf now has grown immensely in the last few years, and players from all over southern Illinois will be attending."

Osborn says funds raised support the club's activities, including the pumpkin race in October, and other community events.
