Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort this week as we conclude our look back at the 2023 Printers Row Lit Fest.
On September 9th and 10th, members of the SIU Press staff visited Chicago for Printers Row, the largest free outdoor literary showcase in the Midwest, which brings together publishers, authors and poets, bookstores, and more through a shared love of books. We shared our tables with several of our authors for signings and chats, and recorded some on-the-scene interviews with them.
Last week, we aired the first half of our discussion with Larry A. McClellan, author of Onward to Chicago: Freedom Seekers and the Underground Railroad in Northeastern Illinois, which just released in September. This week, we’ll be concluding our discussion with Dr. McClellan.
