(UPDATED - 1/7/25) WSIU Radio's main transmitter in Carbondale is back on the air at low power.
WSIU 91.9 FM went off the air Sunday evening after a catastrophic failure during the winter storm. Engineers returned the station to low power Tuesday afternoon. The station wil remain at low power until the transmitter is completely repaired.
You can listen to WSIU Radio's live stream on our website WSIU.org as well as on the WSIU Mobile app. WSIU also continues to broadcast over the air on our transmitters in Mt Vernon, IL at 88.9 FM and in Olney, IL at 90.3 FM..
