NubAbility hosts All Sports Camp

The Nub Ability all sports camp returned to DuQuoin for it's 14th year last week. The camp is for kids from 4 to 18 years old who have limb differences.

WSIU's Brian Sapp introduces us to the campers and coaches who all gain something from the camp.

153 campers work with 80 coaches in 19 different sports during the three day camp. There's drills and conditioning. What makes this camp different? All campers and coaches all have a limb difference. NubAbilitty founder Sam Kunhert was born without a left hand and wants the campers to know they can control how they respond to their challenges.

Brian Sapp joined the WSIU News team in January 2025. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University.
