Inside The Blanket Fort - Episode 228 (9/11/25)

Journey back Inside The Blanket Fort as we catch up with some of the SIU Press authors at the 40th Annual Printers Row Lit Fest in Chicago.

This week, we caught up with Stacy Lynn, who spoke with us about her book Loving Lincoln: A Personal History of the Women Who Shaped Lincoln's Life and Legacy, which was released in June as part of the Illinois Lives series at SIU Press.

Here’s how she describes her new book in her own words: “So, Loving Lincoln is… it’s a deeply personal book. It blends history and memoir; it kind of blurs the lines between personal history and regular history, and it is a biography of Abraham Lincoln as told through the biographies—the overlapping stories—of women, and it’s also got a lot of personal reflections about my almost twenty-five years as a Lincoln scholar editing Lincoln’s papers.”
