June 6-8, the Marion Cultural and Civic Center will host a new, original musical written by southern Illinoisans, Hank and Deanna Deiters and directed by Tim Robinson entitled Standard Issue.
The plot centers on a man who finds himself unexpectedly enlisted in the Army to fulfill the conditions of his late father’s will.
Last week, WSIU's Brad Palmer had the opportunity to visit with Hank and Deanna about their show.
Their musical, Standard Issue, will be performed at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center this Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
