SIU has a new Director of Track and Field and Cross Country.
Saluki Athletics Monday welcomed Ohio State associate head coach Rosalind Joseph to Carbondale.
Joseph says she's excited about the opportunity and wants to create a buzz with alumni about the Salukis' nationally known program.
Joseph says J.C. Lambert has agreed to remain as the throws coach for track and field. She will talk to the other assistant coaches about their future plans.
Joseph replaces Kathleen Raske, who stepped down last week to pursue other opportunities.
