Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is welcoming Build-A-Bear Workshop to its council retail location at 4 Ginger Creek Parkway in Glen Carbon.
Both Girl Scouts and the public can now create their own furry friends on-site.A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce is set for Thursday, Aug. 7 at 4 p.m., featuring light refreshments and a sneak peek of the grand opening plans.The grand opening follows on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with activities including photo booths, themed snacks, free crafts, and a meet-and-greet with Bearemy, the Build-A-Bear mascot, from 9-11 a.m.
