Through its Buck-a-Book project, Confluence Books has raised $400 for Keep Carbondale Beautiful at the Carbondale Farmers Market. Volunteers sold donated books to promote sustainability and community engagement.
The initiative helps divert excess books from landfills while supporting local causes. For the next few Saturdays, proceeds will benefit Carbondale Middle School’s summer band camp.
Keep Carbondale Beautiful is a local nonprofit focused on litter control, environmental education, and beautification. Learn more at keepcb.org or visit confluencebooks618.com for bookstore details.
