St. Louis Classical Guitar presents the first concert of the 2025-26 season with rising-star Puerto Rican classical guitarist Leonela Alejandro at Salem Methodist Church on Saturday, September 13th, at 7:30pm. This concert is part of the Guitar Masters Series and Leonela's St. Louis debut!

Winner of the Rose Augustine Grand Prize in the 2024 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, Leonela Alejandro is a classical guitarist from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. She has garnered attention as a soloist, captivating audiences with her powerful and energetic performance style.

Leonela recently released her debut studio album entitled ‘Leonela,’ which features works for guitar by composers Django Reinhart, Leo Brouwer, Toru Takemitsu, and more.
