Taste of Chocolate is the Survivor Empowerment Center’s major annual fundraiser, helping to serve survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Jackson, Williamson, Franklin, Saline, Gallatin, Perry and Union counties. In its 50th year of service, the Survivor Empowerment Center was founded as the Women’s Center in 1972. We serve all survivors, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, or ethnicity. Please join us for Taste of Chocolate 2023 and help us to continue our mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault in Southern Illinois and to assist survivors of these crimes and their non-offending significant others.
