The owner of Quatro's Deep Pan Pizza in Carbondale has passed away at the age of 29.

The Loop, a Caribbean news service, reported a man, identified as Blake Morrison, was found unresponsive near the pool deck on a cruise to the Bahamas.

On its Facebook page, Quatro's released a statement saying a team of family and friends will carry the business forward. They say they will share more in the coming days.

Morrison's death is currently under investigation.

The SIU graduate assumed ownership of Quatro's last December, replacing Steve Payne, who owned the business for 47 years.

He had worked under Payne since 2018.
