Some of the storm victims in Marion are turning to Go Fund Me to help with damage recovery expenses.

Kalyn Lee with Go Fund Me says a page has been established to support the McComas family of Marion after the tornado destroyed their home.

Matthew McComas, an Army veteran, and his wife Jessica are now displaced with their two young children. Organized by family friend Elizabeth Dodge, the fundraiser aims to help them recover and rebuild after losing all their belongings—just as one of their children was set to celebrate his 11th birthday.

Another Go Fund Me page has been organized by Hannah Gund to help her family rebuild after Friday's destroyed their home in Marion.

Due to a clerical error, they had no home insurance and now face steep repair costs. The fundraiser seeks money to restore their home and ensure safe accommodations for their disabled mother’s needs.
