A revitalization project over a year in the making is starting to come together in Anna.
The Davie Street Plaza in downtown Anna is a project through the Rebuild Illinois Downtowns & Main Streets Capital Grant Program.
It's a collaboration by the Shawnee Hills Arts Council and the City of Anna. It includes a parking lot on West Davie Street and a multi-use pavilion on East Davie Street.
Organizers say the initiative aims to breathe new life into the heart of the city, transforming Davie Street into a vibrant hub for art, commerce, and community engagement.

The project's Facebook page reported this week the foundation has been poured at the site and structural elements are taking shape.
