The State of Illinois is inviting business owners to its Spring Vendor Summit on Wednesday, June 4th at The Pavilion in Marion. Hosted by the Department of Central Management Services, the summit runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and offers tools and guidance on doing business with state agencies.
Attendees will learn about certification, registration, and creating a Business Enterprise Program Utilization Plan. The goal is to help small, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and women-owned businesses access state contracts.
CMS Director Raven DeVaughn says the event reflects the state’s commitment to equity and opportunity.
