Shawnee College to offer a free EMR class

Shawnee Community College

Shawnee Community College is offering a free, non-credit Emergency Medical Responder Hybrid Class, which will include online and in-person instruction.

The in-person portion of the class will be held at the Union County Extension Center in Anna from August 12 through October 4.

There are mandatory in-person sessions on Mondays. Those dates are August 12 and 16...September 5, 23 and 30.

Students will receive EMR/First Responder certification through the Illinois Department of Public Health upon completion.

Seating is limited.
