Several anti-smoking groups say they hope to teach health providers about new ways to get people to quit using tobacco in all its forms. The Southeastern Illinois Tobacco Free Alliance, the Little Egypt Tobacco-Free Coalition and the Wabash Valley Tobacco Control Coalition are hosting the Tobacco Prevention Conference at John Logan College February 27th.
The seminar deals with new use trends, best practices to help people stop using, the rise of vaping and communicating the bad health effects of tobacco.
