Illinois Public Health officials say 2,388 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified, along with an additional 147 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The new cases push Illinois' total positive COVID-19 test results above 100,00 - to 100,418. Total deaths now stand at 4,525.
LOCAL CASE UPDATES (4:20pm Update)
Effingham County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Six overall positive cases of COVID-19, with three recoveries and one death.
- 405 tests have been administered.
Egyptian Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases stands at 10, with 9 recoveries.
- 760 tests have been administered in the three-county service area.
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department:
- Two new cases - a woman in her 40s and a man in his 50s, both from Williamson County.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases now stands at 55, with 40 recoveries and one death in Williamson County, 11 cases with ten recoveries in Franklin County.
Jackson County Health Department:
- Three new cases reported - a pre-teen/teen girl, a woman in her 20s, and a man in his 30s.
- Jackson County's total positive test count is 191, with 160 recoveries and ten deaths.
Jefferson County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall there have been 102 positive cases of COVID-19, with 86 recoveries and 14 deaths.
Marion County Health Department
- One new case - a man in his 60s who is isolating at home.
- Overall, there have been 51 positive cases of COVID-19, with 35 recoveries.
Perry County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, 39 positive cases of COVID-19, with 32 recoveries.
- 525 tests have been administered.
Randolph County Health Department:
- Five new cases reported.
- 44 active cases, with 40 isolating at home and four hospitalized
- Overall, 253 positive cases of COVID-19, with 206 recoveries and three deaths.
- 1,370 tests have been administered.
Richland County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, three positive cases of COVID-19, with three recoveries.
- 725 tests have been administered.
Southern Seven Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, Southern Seven reports 186 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 71 recoveries and four deaths.
