SIH is hosting the 2024 Healthcare Expo for middle, junior high, and high school students this week.
Service line teams representing surgery, nursing, pharmacy, lab services, imaging, physical and occupational therapy, cardiology, neurosciences, respiratory therapy, IT, and other SIH centers are holding demonstrations for students.
Nearly 450 middle and junior high school students from Chester, DeSoto, Giant City, Harrisburg, and Herrin participated in yesterday's expo.
Around 200 high school students from Anna-Jonesboro, Carterville, Herrin, Goreville, Marion, Pinckneyville, and Vienna attended today's event.
