Jackson County Health Department is marking World No Tobacco Day by raising awareness about youth tobacco use, especially vaping.

In 2024, over 1.6 million U.S. students used e-cigarettes. Health officials warn that vaping can lead to alcohol and drug use.

The department offers programs like CATCH My Breath and helps schools update wellness policies to prevent youth smoking.
