SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon is upgrading one of its cardiac catheterization labs with over $1 million in next-gen imaging and diagnostic tools.
The enhanced lab will allow more precise heart procedures with less radiation exposure and faster response times. Hospital leaders say the investment reflects a long-term commitment to battling cardiovascular disease, the nation’s top killer.
Construction is expected to finish by mid-September.
