The Carbondale Police Department has released images of a suspect wanted in a business robbery.

Officers responded to a business in the 100 block of West Jackson Street shortly before 5 p.m. on February 18.

They learned the suspect, described as a Hispanic man wearing a dark colored hoodie and a black face mask, entered the business and displayed what appeared to be a firearm concealed in his waistband.

During the course of the investigation, officers located the suspect on video. While not apparent in the image, the suspect removed the hoodie and was believed to be wearing a red t-shirt. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Carbondale Police Department at (618) 549-2121or Crime Stoppers at (618) 549-COPS.
