Three suspects are being sought as Carbondale Police investigate two burglaries to businesses.

Early Sunday morning, officers responded to a business in the 900 block of West Main Street for a business alarm. Officers learned the suspects forced entry into the business, causing damage, and stole property.

During the investigation, officers learned during a K-9 track that the suspects left the store heading north on North Oakland Avenue. About 90 minutes later, officers also responded to a business in the 500 block of East Main Street for a report of a second business burglary.

Police learned three suspects, wearing black clothing and white masks, caused damage to the business in an attempt to break in. The suspects then left on foot, last seen heading west. At this point in the investigation, both incidents appear to be related.

Anyone with information about the incidents is encouraged to contact the Carbondale Police Department or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (618) 549-COPS.
