Carbondale Extends Local Tax Deadline

As Illinois businesses struggle, because of the COVID-19 stay at home order, the city of Carbondale is giving them a break, by adding an extra 30 days to pay local taxes. 

The Municipal  Motor Fuel Tax and the Municipal Hotel/Motel Tax are now due on April 30th, 2020.  The  Food and Beverage Tax and the Package Liquor Tax are due on May 20th, 2020.
