SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – In recognition of Digital Connective and Lifeline Awareness Week, state Rep. Sue Scherer, D-Decatur, is encouraging local income-eligible residents to take advantage of discounted internet and phone services through the federal government’s Lifeline Program.

Pritzker at Richland Community College on Thursday in Decatur, enabling underground storage of carbon dioxide in Illinois—a process known as carbon capture and sequestration (CSS).
