After delivering his budget address Wednesday, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is turning his focus to the reproductive rights issue.
Pritzker, the founder of Think Big America, will speak at Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom’s kickoff rally in Las Vegas on Saturday.
The governor will join Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro, Planned Parenthood Action Fund President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, and other special guests in leading the event to mark the start of the volunteer signature gathering campaign to qualify an abortion rights constitutional amendment for the 2024 Nevada ballot.
The rally marks the first appearance of Gov. Pritzker at a public event in support of a ballot initiative backed by Think Big America.
Think Big America is an active supporter of Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom’s efforts, having contributed $1 million dollars to the campaign to date and is providing strategic support to the campaign.
