The National Weather Service has issued a second Freeze Warning for most of southern Illinois beginning at Midnight Tuesday and running through 9:00am Wednesday.
Low temperatures tonight are expected to drop to around the freezing mark overnight, and then warm to around 60 degrees Wednesday.
A Frost Advisory also is in effect for northern and western portions of the region Wednesday. Early season vegetable and plants are at risk for damage by the cold.
