Sgt. Holli Bolinski served in the Army Reserves for 11 years, 4 of which were active duty.
On March 5th during a routine equipment run for the 657th Transportation Detachment in Kuwait, a water truck crashed in to the SUV Bolinski and another soldier were in fatally injuring the two.
Monday afternoon her remains arrived at Scott Air Force Base for an observance and then escorted by motorcade back to Pinckneyville.
In tribute to Sgt. Bolinski, American flags have been placed on each side of state route 127 spanning stretching for 6 miles.
Hundreds of volunteers placed the 2000 flags to welcome home Pinckneyvilles's fallen soldier.
Visitation will be held at St Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville on Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm and Thursday from 8 to 930 am.
A mass of Christian burial will take place at 10am at the St Bruno Catholic Church.
