You are invited to attend a free public screening and discussion of the Indie Lens Pop-Up film, "Love in the Time of Fentanyl," Sunday, February 5th, 2:30 pm at Carbondale Public Library. The 60-minute film will be followed by Q & A with special guest Eric Spurling of Overdose Prevention Society and Brent Van Ham, SIU School of Medicine, will present NARCAN training.
Artspace 304 showcases “CommUNITY Painting”, an exhibition of artwork created during a 2021 community event led by T.C. Mueller. Made possible by a grant from the Southern Illinois Community Foundation, the event brought together families, community leaders/members, and police officers for a conversation about diversity, community issues and mutual respect in a safe, nurturing and creative space. The resulting artwork will be on view at The Corridor Gallery, located in the Carbondale Civic Center, during the month of February.
