In Carbondale, the Sierra Club Native Plant Sale will be held at the Town Square Pavilion, 121 N. Illinois Ave Saturday, April 8th – 9:00AM – 1:00PM. Local, native plant growers, Eric and Ann Stahlheber of Southernwood Gardens will be the vendors. Native gardening experts will be on-hand to advise you and plants are sorted by habitat. You can visit the Southernwood Garden Facebook page to see the plant selection prior to the sale.

In Marion, BGCSI is opening their doors to the community on March 30th for the Phenomenal Women's Showcase. The organization’s youth will honor women for Women's History Month and they will announce their 2023 Phenomenal Women of the Year! For more information: info@bgcsi.org

In Crab Orchard, you’re welcome to join Bingo at the Library on Thursdays at 2:00 pm. This is a free event for adults and all are welcome. Come for an hour of fun and prizes!
