In Carbondale, Southern IL Pridefest is this weekend, hosted by Pride in Action Southern Illinois. The festival kick-off begins with an opening reception on Friday at 5:30pm at The Varsity Center. The Friends of the Herrin City Library will be hosting their annual book sale Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Monday, June 26, 2023, from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
