In Carterville, enjoy a downtown concert series on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 6 to 8 pm. The whole family is invited to bring chairs and hear live music. Performers will be announced weekly and you can find more information on the city’s website.

In Marion, The SI Coalition for Children and Families host Kid’s night at Mt Dew Park tomorrow night. See the Thrillbillies take on the Alton River Dragons and the Coalition’s “Be A Changemaker” campaign will be revealed on the big screen during the game.

In Makanda, learn about Wild Summer Mushrooms with Alex Holmes on June 25th. Find more information on the Friends of Giant City Facebook page or by calling the Giant City Visitor Center at 618-457-4836.

In Carbondale, the Brown Bag Concerts are Every Wednesday at Noon at the Town Square Pavilion. Bring your own lunch tomorrow and enjoy free live music from Colleen and Friends. The performance will also be streamed live on Carbondale Main Street’s Facebook page.
