In Murphysboro, attend the Grand Opening Celebration for the National Woman’s Relief Corp on Sunday March 3, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. See the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Museum (WRC-GAR) collection at the General John A. Logan Museum. The permanent exhibit will include many artifacts and unique items of interest. Civil War Battle Flag, a civils war drum, the Flag that was hanging in Ford Theatre the night that President Lincoln was shot and more. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
