The City of Carbondale, Southern Illinois Collaborative Kitchen, and the Carbondale Branch of NAACP will celebrate Women’s History Month during the Carbondale “At the Table” Dinner & Dialogue series on Tuesday, March 19th at the Carbondale Civic Center. This month’s dialogue theme will center on Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. The Carbondale “At the Table” Dinner & Dialogue Series will occur on the third Tuesday of the month through June. This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5pm and the Dinner & Dialogue will begin at 5:30pm. Seating is limited and registration required. Contact the City of Carbondale for more information.
March 13, 2024, 6-9 pm: Advance Scene Study First Class Led by James Roberts. It is FREE! The purpose of the class is to help writers, directors and actors more clearly define and interpret specific units of structure within individual pieces. Next step branch this class out into a character building class then ultimately a method acting class.
In Carbondale, The Southern Illinois Pagan Alliance welcomes the changing of the seasons with Ostara, Saturday, March 16 at Gaia House Interfaith Center in Carbondale. Join the free, public celebration of spring on Saturday, March 16th at 6pm. A potluck will follow the ceremony. Please bring what you can to share.
