In Murphysboro, the Second Annual Old Depot Bicycle Rally is October 26th at The General John A Logan Museum. Riders will complete a 20-mile challenge while exploring Murphysboro. The City of Carbondale Police Department is looking for volunteers for the annual Halloween Pumpkin Patrol to help keep trick-or-treater safe on Halloween. The citywide trick or treat is planned for Thursday, October 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Department has sponsored the Pumpkin Patrol since 1992.
