On this day in 1976, “Rocky”, starring Sylvester Stallone, premieres in New York and went on to win Best Picture the following year.

The annual "Scouting for Food" drive is underway. If you received a blue bag on your front door last weekend, local Scouts will be back tomorrow morning to collect any donations.
