Blood and plasma donations are needed and there are a couple of blood drives coming up in Jackson County on December 26th. In Carbondale, donate at the Eagles Lodge and in Murphysboro, donate at the Holiday Inn Express. Both will be taking donors from Noon to 5. Blood drives are being held throughout the region and you can find one close to you by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or by downloading the Red Cross App.
