SIU-C to Celebrate UN Day

Southern Illinois University's United Nations Association is celebrating UN Day this Wednesday by hosting a speaker from the UN Foundation to speak on human rights.
UNA President Darcy Hemphill says the day celebrates not only the United Nations, but also the 70th anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
 
Hemphill says Micheal McColpin's from the UN Foundation will speak on human rights. Right now Hemphill says human rights is a hot discussion topic.
 
You can hear McColpin's speech Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Auditorium.
