Renowned novelist Richard Russo returns to SIU

The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute welcomes Pulitzer-Prize winning novelist and screenwriter Richard Russo.

Institute director John Shaw will talk with Russo about his new book "Somebody's Fool."

A former teacher at SIU-Carbondale, Russo has become one of America's leading novelists and screenwriters.

Shaw says, “Richard is eager to come back to Carbondale, visit with students and professors, and discuss his remarkable literary career.“

The conversation will be on Tuesday November 7th at 6 p.m. in Student Center Ballroom B with a reception beginning at 5 p.m.
