Join us on July 4th at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) campus for a dazzling fireworks display starting promptly at 9:15 p.m. This beloved event promises an evening of family fun and community spirit under the starlit sky.
Event Details:
Plan your visit by parking in designated areas such as Banterra Center lots 18 and 56. Overflow parking is available in lot 89 north of the Banterra Center. Please arrive early, as main parking lots fill up quickly.
Indulge in a variety of delicious treats from local vendors, including the iconic American Ice Cream Truck, Honeybeez Snowballz, Bake Me Happy Food Co, and Pelzer's Tropical Sno's.
Important Information:
Road closures begin at 6 p.m., affecting lots 37 and 52, and sections of Douglas Drive and Saluki Drive. For safety reasons, parking along Route 51 and other roadways for viewing purposes is prohibited.
In the event of rain, the fireworks display will be rescheduled to July 5th at 9:15 p.m.
