On Friday, POLITICO reported the Trump administration will reverse the visa revocations of thousands of international students across the country.
The move comes after more than 100 lawsuits and 50 restraining orders from dozens of federal judges. The administration apparently capitulated to the judges’ finding that terminating university students’ immigration records from a federal database — a step which appeared to jeopardize their legal authorization to remain in the country — was almost certainly illegal.
WSIU's Brad Palmer talked about this issue and much more with SIU-Carbondale Chancellor Austin Lane.
