SIU's annual Day of Giving is set for Wednesday, September 17.
The event moved to the fall in 2024 and raised over one million dollars.
The first SIU Day of Giving was in March 2017. Since then, supporters have donated nearly $17 million during Day of Giving celebrations.
Each year, the SIU community comes together for a 24-hour, online Day of Giving. Supporters visit siuday.siu.edu and make a gift to any college, unit, program, or initiative.
During previous Days of Giving, tens of thousands of dollars have been raised for special projects, including the beautification of Campus Lake and the construction of the Saluki Alumni Plaza.
