Southern Illinois University is hosting Mountainfilm on Tour on Friday, September 26, at the Varsity Theater in Carbondale. The free 7 p.m. showing features a selection of inspiring short documentaries from the Telluride Mountainfilm Festival. Doors open at 6:30, and tickets are required. They are available at the SIU Student Recreation Center office on a first-come basis during business hours, with just 20 tickets offered at the door. The event, now in its fifth year, showcases stories of adventure, culture, and resilience.
