Taco 'bout a fun time! The Southern Illinois Taco Festival in Marion, IL, is fast approaching. Marion Connects, a local non-for-profit organization, is putting on the first ever southern Illinois Taco Festival on Friday March 1st, at 6 pm at Celebrations Event Center in Marion.

The event will feature a selection of meats and salsas from local restaurants, giving tickets holders the chance to try a variety of tacos in one place. The event, which is a fundraiser for Marion Connects, will feature over a dozen filling selections, a full topping bar, and unlimited chips, salsa, and queso.

There will be a silent auction as well, along with a selfie station, Latina Dancers, a caricature artist, and a cash bar, Desserts will be provided by Churros y Chocolate. Tickets for the event are already nearly sold out, but a few remain. Individual tickets are $25, and multi-ticket purchases are discounted while available.

Tickets can be purchased via Zeffy through the link on our Facebook event, Southern Illinois Taco Festival. For more information, guest are welcomed to contact the Marion Connects Facebook Page.
