Join Molina Healthcare of Illinois and the Black Chamber of Commerce of Southern Illinois in commemorating Juneteenth at the second annual Block Party in Carbondale. This vibrant event will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. between Jackson and Gum Streets. It promises an evening of community spirit, featuring delicious food, lively entertainment, and valuable health screenings.

At Molina Healthcare, we are committed to promoting health and well-being within Illinois' African American communities. Our participation in this event underscores our dedication to addressing health disparities, including diabetes, heart disease, lung and breast cancer, and infant mortality. Through educational initiatives and health screenings offered at the Block Party, we aim to empower individuals with knowledge and resources to lead healthier lives.

The Block Party will also serve as a platform for connecting residents with essential community resources. Whether you're seeking information on healthcare services, local businesses, or community organizations, this event offers a welcoming environment to engage and learn.
