Representitives of the United States Mint, the National Forest Service and members of the Shawnee Tribe officially launched the new Garden of the Gods quarter on February 4th, 2016 at a ceremony at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg.  This new quarter is the 31st quarter released as a part of the America The Beautiful Quarters program.
