Southern Illinois has been named a “Top Logistics Hub” for 2025 by Business Facilities magazine. The honor highlights the region’s powerful mix of rail, roads, rivers, and runways—giving companies faster access to customers and lower shipping costs.
Major firms like Continental Tire and General Dynamics already call the region home, while new companies like Manner Polymers are joining in, citing Southern Illinois’ location and rail access as key advantages.
The award follows major local investments, including Prysmian’s $63 million expansion and Aisin’s new 463,000-square-foot logistics center. SI Now’s Deb Barnett says it’s not just a win for Southern Illinois—but a win for the whole state.
