The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the Brookport Bridge on Thursday Morning.
Officials say the U.S. 45 Ohio River "Brookport" Bridge will be closed to all traffic starting at 8:45 Thursday morning.
The closure is for officials to do the annual inspection. They are encouraging to use the Interstate 24 bridge for a detour.
Officials say the bridge is expected to be open by Noon.
