A big temperature drop is headed our way

A significant pattern change will result in feels-like temperature dropping 55-65 degrees across our area between today and Halloween.

The National Weather Service in Paducah says during the transition, a healthy dose of rain is expected over the weekend.

Meteorologists say the growing season will likely end early next week as temperatures drop below freezing.

They say enjoy what is likely to be the last 80 degree temperature of the year today.
